EMMET COUNTY - Board of County Commissioners Meeting September 19, 2019 - 6:00 PM RFP: Audit Services Award


SUMMARY: The Annual Financial Audit Services provided to Emmet County was put out for bid recently. Attached you will find the results along with Finance Director Pam Gibson's recommendation.


RECOMMENDATION: I recommend the Financial Audit contract be awarded to Gabridge and Co., for a period of five years, at a price not to exceed $133,855.00. John Calabrese CIVIL COUNSEL REVIEW / RECOMMENDATION: I have reviewed the request and approve as to legal form. MOTION: I move that the Board award the bid for Audit Services for a period of five years (2019 through 2023 audits) at a cost not to exceed $133,855.00 to Gabridge & Company. I further move that County staff work with the company to prepare a contract or letter of engagement in compliance with the terms of the bid, and authorize the Board Chairperson to sign the contract or letter of engagement after Civil Counsel approval.
